People Enjoying Nature Winter 2023
Come and join us for a number of opportunities to spend time in the Pendle Hill landscape over the next few weeks. All sessions are free of charge and available for everyone (under 18s must be accompanied by Parent/Guardian/responsible adult).
PEN sessions aim to offer supported activities out in the landscape, at different sites and areas. All sessions will be delivered in a Covid safe way, which means that changes may have to be made throughout the programme if guidance changes. We offer a free transport service for Thursday sessions for those who require it, via The Little Green Bus which picks up at local meeting points on route.
These sessions are held on 2 Thursdays a month. Activities include gentle activity and focus on connecting to nature and enjoying the outdoors. They are held in the Ribble Valley and Pendle area. Sessions are FREE and start at 11.00am, and last approx. 3 hours. Free transport can be available!
All equipment, materials and tools are provided free of charge, but we encourage participants to wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Remember to bring a drink and a snack and come dressed prepared for the weather!
Booking is essential. For more information and to book onto Thursday sessions please email PEN@lscft.nhs.uk
More sessions have been programmed for March 2nd and 16th. Please note that the session times for the February and March dates have been changed to 11am - 2pm and you must now book via email only.
