Dry Stone Walling Association (DSWA) Project Co-ordinator for Pendle Hill Landscape Partnership Traditional Boundaries Project  

Starting salary: £21,000 pro rata 

An opportunity to be involved in an exciting new initiative to improve the landscape and heritage of Pendle Hill. The post will manage the Traditional Boundaries Project on behalf of the DSWA, working in conjunction with Pendle Hill Landscape Partnership Scheme.

The Project Co-ordinator is responsible for delivering the project on time and in budget, by planning and organising resources and people to deliver the outcomes of the Traditional Boundaries Project including:  

  • Managing traditional boundaries restoration work.
  • Identifying funding for boundary restoration works via agri-environment schemes.
  • Delivering rural skills training.
  • Financial management and reporting.

12 month fixed term contract with DSWA, starting January 2019 (option to renew for a further 2 years). Working hours: 40 hours per month

Office base: Clitheroe (homeworking available). 

Driving licence and access to a car required, expenses paid on a mileage rate.
